Multiple Profiles, one pst

I have two profiles, simply for the outgoing mail address at my home and
place of work, I am using one pst file but when I switch to the other profile
I receive the emails repeated. Can you help with what setting I need to
change to stop this, or another way to use one pst file with multiple profile
for outgoing mail purposes.

Why do you need multiple mail profiles for this? You can add multiple email
accounts to a single mail profile. When sending you emails, you can use the
Accounts button next to the Send button to select your outgoing account.
