Multiple PC problems

Hi, currently I cannot uninstall or remove Norton Anti-Virus 2004 from my pc.
I've tried reinstalling it numerous times but it never completes. Another
problem is that I cannot use any .net passports on my pc. I cannot log in it
my msn messenger, hotmail, or anything else that requires a .net passport.
Please help.
 
This is a problem I've seen all too many times. When Norton Anti-Virus is
damaged it often can neither be reinstalled nor uninstalled. Symantec's web
site has some repair utilities to address this situation.
