Hotmail not working - .NET to blame ?

No -its not cookies . . .

MSN / Hotmail working great - on 2 pcs

last few days .net passport probs all the time

both pcs uptodate inc last big .net download and subsequent patch . . .

thing is anold pc thats months out of date , can log into hotmail as normal

Q) Whats happened ?

Q2) What recent fix do i need to uninstall ?

Hello, Have you updated to IE6 with security updates? Does this unit have
the same setup as the other two units?
Do you have a second browser " Firefox" etc.? If not install one and try
accessing Hotmail.
Sometimes the server has problems with some clients, last week I had same
problem, was able to log on using Firefox "once", then message in "Firefox"
stated that server for this mail group was down, there were several different
problem messages in IE. I waited a few hours cleaned out cookies,
temp.internet files, etc. tried again, worked fine.
Hope you find a solution.

i deleted all my passports - managed to get on thru the hotmail link from
msn.co.uk
rather than msn7 which i always did before

something has defo changed

read on a forum how to pick a specific hotmail server to log into
as they haveso many some might have probs

not impressed though with this passport stuff

might have to try trillian
