Friend bought notebook in Hungary. Hungarian Windows XP
Pro intalled. Bought new Windows XP Pro and installed.
How do we get rid of the Hungarian version? Think that it
is interfering with password for BT Broadband.

Thanks Ed T

The Hungarian version won't interfere with any password -
it's completely inactive while you're running the new version
of WinXP. If you want to get rid of it, do this:
- Launch the new version of WinXP.
- Find out where the Hungarian version is installed (e.g. in c:\Windows)
- Rename c:\Windows to c:\Windows.Hungarian
- Wait a week
- If all is well, delete c:\Windows.Hungarian
