Not sure whether this is a hardware or software problem but...

Using XP Pro SP2 - have two monitors connected. All the icons are on the
primary monitor. On occasion, when using MS Flight Simulator and switching
to 3d fullscreen - "some" of the icons jump to the second monitor. If I shut
down, disable the second monitor and reboot with only the primary - the
icons that were on the second monitor are missing! I can reset everything by
going into Display properties and playing with the selections but wonder -
is there a more elegant way to restore the icons to their original
positions - all on primary monitor? Tried refresh and that didn't work.

Thanx,

Vic Baron

www.ultramon.com has an option to save icons locations and restoring them
to their original place.. along with many fantastic features you might like
when using
2 monitors..

Since the locations are jumping around with the display resets caused by
the game, the icons may be settling into an area that is off screen/out of
view. Try a right click, Sort By (and choose a sort order) to see if that
"pulls" them back into view.

Thanx Sharon - I'll give that a try next time it happens.
