I searched this whole newsgroup and didn't see the answer -
I figured it was more common.

BUT - on my bosses computer he is using Local area
connection 9! (I had to put in a new NIC card) I've seen
it somewhere in the registry but can't find it again...

Where do I get rid of all the "old" NIC connections (1-8
in this case?)

Normally it's no big deal -but he's anal and wants them
gone. He thinks it's people dialing into his computer even
though I explained its not.

Right-click on "Local Area Connection 9" and rename.
