Multiple Issues with IE 6.0

I have multiple issues with IE 6.0.
1. I get an EXTREME amount of pop ups which I've tried
iwonpopup blocker, some other pop up blockers, and
nothing can seem to get rid of them. I've cleared out my
cookies, deleted downloaded files, cleared out my
history, and done just about everything I can think of,
and I just can't think of how else to fix it. If I leave
my computer on all night (logged into windows), I'll have
over 20 (maybe 30 sometimes) pop ups.

2. On several sites, I always get bad plugin, or bad url
404. I either get it on the entire page, or just
portions of the page. For instance, where a particular
ad is suppose to appear, I'll see a bad plugin or url 404
error.

3. I also have the problem where IE is freezing up at
times.

4. When I try to shutdown my computer, IE is at often
times still running, and I get a status bar watching it
shut down IE and I still have to click on END NOW.

If someone could please help me, that would be great.

Josh,
The first thing to do is to scan your system for the possibility of
unknown\unwanted spyware or parasites that may be causing your problem(s).
