I had some system problems, so i inserted the win xp home cd and booted from
it, i ended up installing win xp in other directory windows.0
and the option of choosing which OS to run in the startup. I used the system
restore feature and now the original install is working fine. i just wanted
to get rid of the newer installed win xp in the windows.0 directory.

How should i do this????

i've installed sp2 in both the installs.

please help

delete the folder "windows.0" (make sure you in the original OS before you
do this) and then

Start>run and type

msconfig

go to the Boot.ini tab then select "Check all Boot Paths"

Good Luck
