Multiple Hotmail accounts in Outlook02 : possible?

G

I tried a search on this without any luck...

::I've been trying to add a couple more hotmail accounts to b
synchronised in outlook2002, but it can't access them.::

I've currently got my hotmail account, which works in Outlook, and
POP3 account which also works.

When I try to add my wife's hotmail account or a second hotmail accoun
of my own (which can both be accessed from internet explorer without
problem)outlook cannot recognise them. I had this problem with Outloo
Express as well.

I think I have all the settings configured correctly, (like SPA is NO
ticked in the accounts setup box) but no joy.

Is this an inherent problem, or can anyone offer any suggestions?

My only thoughts are that it might be to do with cookies in IE, bu
beyond that I'm stumped! Help would be greatly appreciated.

Only one account is officially supported in OL, but multiple accounts work
for some people. We have no idea why. I have 2 hotmail accounts in OE6 and
they are working fine.

Thanks. That's a bit rubbish, though, eh?

I did have three hotmail accounts in my last outlook express setup
although I was only able to syncronise two at once. There was also
recurring issue whereby sometimes one account would get "substituted
for another, it would show the other's folders and mail, and then whe
I rebooted, the mail from the original account all had to be DL'd fro
the server again!

I wonder if I can get round this by using that hotmail "popper
programme that reads http mail services then converts them to POP
mail. Anyone famililar with this practise?
Thanks again
