I use outlook '03 and I currently sync an imap account and a hotmail
account. I'd like to add two other hotmail accounts. Although I've
added the other accounts successfully, both accounts time out when I
try try to connect to them. The passwords and user id's are both
correct.
Read
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=823523. You will need to define
multiple mail profiles and select which one to use when you load
Outlook. Or get Hotmail Popper (used to be free but not anymore) to let
you define multiple *POP3* accounts for Hotmail which go through the
Hotmail Popper proxy. However, all POP3 accounts get their e-mails
aggregated into the one Inbox of your message store; i.e., if you define
POP3 accounts for Hotmail then e-mails yanked using POP3 through Hotmail
Popper will show up in your Inbox, not in a separate message store for
Hotmail that displays as a separate branch in the tree list. However,
you can use rules that check through which account an e-mail was
received to move Hotmail e-mail into Hotmail-named folders.
