multiple fan monitor?

My brother has an HP PC that has 3 fans inside. Is there any software
available that would tell you if one of them stops working? Thanks, Steve T.

The software sometimes comes with the mother board - mine does - what is the
make/model of his MB?
This sometimes comes with the built computer together with the disc for the
MB.
You would fair better posting in an appropriate newsgroup - this would reach
a wider number of experts. Your post has little/nothing in connection with
windowsxp.general.
The below might help - assuming he is running XP.

A forum group for the MB manufacturer would be my starting point.

I use a product called Everest by a company called Lavalys. It does exactly
what you are asking on both of my HP computers. The version I have
(2.01.347) was a free download at the time I got it. You will have to look
for yourself to see if a free or trial version is still available.

Thanks for all of the input. My brother tried speedfan and like it. It only
shows 2 fans though, instead of his three. Steve T

Not if they are connected to a standard 4 pin line.
 
I could never get it to work with my Dell Computer. It say the motherboard is not supported.
give Speed Fan a look see.

mother board and bios update level may make a difference.
I have a giga-byte mobo and mine shows 5 fans. but only controls 3 of them.
