Multiple email accounts

My wife and I have the same User profile on XP. Using
outlook we can access our email accounts (Hotmail or
other). The problem is that when we compose email, the
email is sent from the default account (which could be
mind or hers). Unlike Outlook Express, Outlook does not
seem to recognize the account which we want to use to
send email. Any tips?

You can use a free com addin named real account, which should set the
sender fill based on which folder you are in.

Or, you can set it manually by either clicking on the account (Outlook
2002) or under sender in tools - option (Outlook 2000)/

What version of Outlook, and if 2000 or 98, what mode?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer,
