I am using Outlook 2003 with several personal email accounts routed
into one outlook.pst file. I am now volunteering for my daughter's
school and need to create and check email for that account as well. I
would like this email account to go into a separate PST file so I can
hand it and all email history over to the next person who volunteers
next year when my shift is over. I would also like all these accounts
and PST files to be open at once in my Outlook so I can manage
everything in one place.
I have the new school account set up and I created a new PST file which
appears as a separate set of personal folders in my Folders List, just
like Archive Folders. I also see a place in the Email Accounts dialog
box to "Deliver new email to the following location" but it looks like
it will do that for all the accounts in my list, not just the one
account I'm trying to isolate.
Is what I am doing possible, or do I have to handle it through Rules
and Alerts by routing the messages to the "folder" (PST file) I
ultimately want them to end up in?
