multiple downloads of same email

I am using Outlook 2002. In advance settings, I have Leave a copy on server
checked. I do not have an antivirus program scanning incoming email. I
recieve multiple copies of the same emails that have been downloaded from the
server.

I have seen several other posts for the same issue but no clear resolution.
Can someone please help?

I'm having the same problem. I hope someone can help! I never had this
problem with Outlook Express
