Multiple Documents copied onto one

I have about 25 documents I want to copy onto a single
document. By chance, I tried using ctrl C on the
original document file name, and then opening my new
document and pasting. I found that after I had done that
25 times, I could doulble click on the new document, and
the original would open and I could edit it in both
places (both the original and the new document would get
the change.) The problem I have is that a few of the
original documents are more than one page and only one
page is showing up on the new document. Is there a way
to change this so the entire original shows up on the
new ? (When you double click on the new and the original
opens, the entire two pages are displayed. I want both
pages to show up on the new document as well).

Thanks for any input.

Hi Robb,

It sounds like you've inserted the documents as Word
document objects. Unless you used Edit/Paste Special, I find
it odd that copy/paste would have given you this result,
however...

No, there's no way you can force an object to display more
than a single (the first) page. Word handles objects like
graphics. And Word is not able to break graphics (or
objects) across pages.

The closest you'll be able to get to what I think you want
is to insert the documents using the Master Document feature
(found in Outline view). While the result is probably what
you want to see, please note that this is *extremely*
unstable in its "linked" state. Therefore, it's better to
break the links to the original files (there's a button
called "Remove sub-document" that will do that).
