Multiple copies of emails w/attachements being sent from Outbox

For some reason a coworker of mine that is using Outlook Express is sending
multiple copies of her emails (usually when something is attached) because
the email remains in her outbox even though it shows up in the Sent folder.
The recipients confirm that they keep repeating. We thought that Norton had
something to do with it but no luck and no viruses have been detected. We
have also tried re-intalling OE but that didn't help either. Any thoughts?
