I have 2 computers that I am wanting to put windows xp on.
do I have to buy 2 copies of the software or can I just
buy one and put it on both?

You need an individual copy of Windows XP for each
installation on a different computer. Otherwise, you
won't be able to activate the second installation.

The rule is quite clear. It's one copy (or one license) for each
computer.

There's nothing new here. This is exactly the same rule that's
been in effect on *every* version of Windows. The only thing new
is that there's now an enforcement mechanism.

This question is rapidly approaching the status of "I upgraded to XP and
now I can't find all my email" and "OE denies access to attachments"
