multiple calendars, contacts, and task lists in outlook 2003

I just started using Outlook 2003 and after setting up all of my email
accounts, I noticed that I have 4 contact lists,3 calendars, and 4 task
lists. I have multiple MSN and Hotmail email addresses, since I am a member
of MSN Premium. The default "Calendar", for instance is blank. I also have
"Calendar in Personal Folders" and "Calendar in (my email address)" which
appear to be duplicates of each other, but I haven't verified that. For the
contact lists, I have "Contacts" (which is blank), "Contacts in Personal
Folders" (which has entries), "Contacts in (my email address)" (which has
entries), and another "Contacts in (a different email address)"(which has
different entries than the contacts for the other email address). The same
situation above for contacts also applies to Tasks.

How do I combine all of the information from the separate calendars into the
main default calendar (because right now, since the default is blank, nothing
shows up in Outlook Today? I also need this question answered for contacts
and tasks if the process is different.

MSN and Hotmail accounts will always have their own completely separate
message stores, including the calendar, contacts, and so on. The defaults
are probably in a PST designated as your delivery location and any incoming
messages from a POP account will be deliverered to that Inbox and new
calendat or contact entries will get placed in the default Calendar and
Contacts. The ones with "in Personal Folders" are ones in another PST.

What is your delivery location at the bottom left of Tools>E-mail
Accounts>Next?

If I understand you correctly, I have more than 1 calendar, task list,
contact list, etc because I have different account types (hotmail, MSN, as
well as other email addresses)? I can live with that, but it is possible to
combine all of the info contained in the separate calendars (or tasks or
contacts)? By that, I mean that it's okay with me to have more than one
calendar, for example, but can one of those many calendars (preferably the
default one that shows up on the Outlook Today page) somehow be combined with
the others to end up with one complete calendar containing all of the entries
from the other 3 calendars (other than manually typing all of the information
from each of the other calendars into one calendar)?

The default calendar (or task list, etc) is the only one that is blank. The

only calendar that's blank and the calendar area of Outlook Today is blank.

You asked where new email is delivered. It says "Personal Folders", but
what is unusual to me is that if I click on the dropdown menu, there is more
than one "Personal Folders" listed. They are not differentiated (ie Personal
Folders 1, Personal Folders (for my email address),etc). And apparently, the
delivery needs to be the same for all of the email accounts listed in the box
above on that screen? I say this because if I select one email address from
the box and choose a different delivery location, then move to the next email
address, it shows that next email address has the same dilvery location that
I chose for the first. I guess that I can't have different delivery
locations for different accounts...the delivery locations needs to be the
same for all accounts?

I am also curious why I don't have more calendars, task lists, contacts
lists because I actually have 10 MAPI accounts total (2 hotmail, 8 MSN) and 8
other POP3 accounts.

Only if you copy the information from all the calendars to the default
calendar, and likewise for the other folders, like Task.

The default calendar (and task and contacts, etc.) will be the ones at the
bottom left of Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next. That PST is the one that should
show up as "Outlook Today" in the Folder List. When you create a new
Calendar or Contact item, in which Calendar or Contact folder does it go?
It should go into the ones under Outlook Today.

All of the HTTP accounts (Hotmail, MSN) should deliver mail to their own
separate Inboxes.

The MSN and Hotmail accounts (i.e., each HTTP account) should have a
separate set of default folders (including Inbox and Calendar but probably
not Tasks); i.e., the folders for those acounts should reflect the folders
on MSN; and messages should be delivered to the Inboxes for each. All of
the POP accounts should share a single Inbox, Calendar, etc., and it should
be the one under Outlook Today.
