Multiple borders?

Greetings!
Is it possible in FP 2002 to have different Shared Borders (ie different
layouts?). For example - I have a top page (not home) on which the linkbar
shows the child pages. On the child pages I'd like the link bar to show the
same level. I can't seem to find an easy way to do this - any suggestions
would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Tina

No, unless you split your web into subwebs, then you can apply separate borders.

Now instead of using shared border you can use the FP Include Page component where you do want you
want, since they applied manually to your pages.

Hmm..thanks! I'll have to try them both out - but quick thought is that the
subwebs might work better. I'll test it out!

no shared borders show the same content on all pages that you have them active.
on.

Try the "include" page component under Insert > Component > Page - that way you
can have different pages (and multiple pages) included within a page. eg for your
title bar or footer or menu or any part of the content, then when you want to
edit it, you edit the 'included' file not the main page. then upload that
'included' file and the new content will be reflected....works best is server
extension areinstalled but does work without, but requires all files to be
reuploaded(unless you edit 'live' through frontpage "Publish").

You could also try Server Side Includes (SSI) if your host enabled it.
