Modify navigation linkbars to act as drop-down menu

I am using fp2002 and my website is using themes in association with shared
borders. I have linkbars within the shared and non-shared parts of each
page. The linkbars are tied to the navigation structure, however, to parse
down through the navigation, you have to click on one linkbar to get to the
next page, and then click on the next linkbar, etc. I would like to be able
to mouse-over and/or click on the top page linkbar and have a drop-down list
display of the respective navigation structure, thus allowing the user to go
directly to the desired page. Can this be done in fp linkbars and if not,
any reference to a way to make it work in fp?
