Multipass F80 fax

Hi I have a multipas F80 and often when talking on the phone the fax
decides to come on and cuts off my conversation.
This is not as I pick up the phone but happens after I am on the line
for a few minutes. This happens with both in coming cell phone, and
land line calls.
This is getting very annoying and wonder what I can do.
Anybody else experiencing this, and can anything be done?

Yes, if you call their support line they can walk you through some settings
to stop this.
