Multi monitor question

i have a monitro and hd projector hooked up to my pc. I keep the projector
as the primary monitor because i use it for videogames and stuff. THe
secondary is the regular monitor. I use the regular for websurfing and
stuff, i set it up so the taskbar and internet windows mosly open up here.

my problem is that i open up some windows on the regular monitor it shoots
them over to the projector space which is off most of the time. Every time i
want to watch a windows media file or somethin that cant be remembered i have
to turn my projector on and move it over, then turn it off. I tried to
download ultramon but it didnt seem to have a feature to move windows without
seeing them. anyone help?

If you change the projector to monitor number 2 then everything should then
load in the normal monitor. From there whatever you wish to put in the
projector you could just move it accross. The general rule is, is that
whichever monitor you close application from windows remembers and reloads it
in that window.

You could set the monitor to the primary display when the projector is
off.

On the www.ultramon.com site you will find some extra scripts that are in
visual basic . Look here:
http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/scripts/

With those you can run and disable and re-enable any monitor on the fly. You
will have to have ultramon running also. You will find many scripts there.

Also if you right click on the ultramon icon there are a huge amount of
functions including
shortcut keys to move application windows from any monitor to any other
monitor.

Look under options > Hotkeys

in other words ultramon is very powerful, you just didnt look hard enough on
how to use it.
