M
Mark desperate and needy!!!!
Hi All,
I have two pc's (you might say one old and one new). I have two drive
caddy's in each pc's so that i can work from 2 locations. One HDD is IDE with
XP installed and one HDD is SATA with Vista installed.
The old pc will boot straight into XP and does not display any multi boot
selection. however, when it is booted into XP i can see the SATA drive and
all its contents so i know that the HDD is seen and working. (note! the SATA
HDD is connected via a PCI SATA to IDE card).
I know that the SATA HDD (Vista) works fine in the new pc. So all i need to
do is make the old pc see that SATA HDD during boot up so that it gives me
the option to boot into eother XP or Vista.
If your not confused at this point then you'll probably know what i need to
do lol.
Many thanks in advance if anyone can help.
Cheers, Mark.
