Mult (3-4) accounts "mismatched" in Outlook 2007

After finally being able to configure Window Live Desktop at work as I
have no Outlook (Lotus Notes instead), I decided to finally configure
all my accounts in Outlook on my laptop.

So I have 3 accounts ( a 4th to be name later) that I will refer to
as:

(1) Hotmail account ([email protected])
I was easily able to add the Hotmail with HTTP account type b/c it
auto-populated the rest of the fields.

(2) A school account, formerly a simple "edu" account that is now
accessibly via the same MSN/Live portals
as the Hotmail account (Lastname.#@osu.edu)
Right now the only one functioning properly (all folder capability) is
(2), but I had to exit Outlook and use the Control Panel to add the
account as it would not do so othewise (as I was advised by the
prompt). It seemed to automatically "sense" this setting, but it
seemed to me that (3) would be more apt with the MSX moniker already.

(3) for my business college account within the school that is similar
to the other (Lastname_#@fisher.osu.edu) except that according to the
signin screen, it is "Connected to Microsoft Exchange".
Finally, (3) connected using the HTTP acct. type as well, but I used
"Other" as service provider and pasted the exchweb server address as
the Server URL.

The named accounts are all showing, but I am only able to send/receive
with (2), the rest just error/time out.

Do you MVP types have a solution?

UPDATE: I dl'd the Outlook Connector and followed it to a successful
Hotmail account, and it looks like Outlook is essentially forcing me
to acce get to the school-at-large account as the MSX server
connection. Regardless, I cannot manage to get that b-school account
to import.

By th by, did Hotmail finally nix the old MSN portal? I had that as my
homepage until yesterday or today, and now I can only get to WLM. Not
that it matters, but I wouldn't have switched my homepage if my
nostalgia were deciding!

Hotmail no longer supports HTTP. Exchange accounts that do not use https
(secure) addresses can be configured as HTTP.

For hotmail and outlook live (I assume the student acct is using outlook
live) you need to use the outlook connector.

For exchange, you need to use Outlook Anywhere.

See http://help.outlook.com/en-us/140/cc511396.aspx for assistance in
setting up Outlook@edu accounts.
