msvcrt.dll and Windows Explorer problems

The problem that i have is that something is wrong with
my msvcrt.dll to Windows Explorer. I think that my
msvcrt.dll is damaged.

The error message is that Windows Ex. has encounted and
needs to close. Here is the error signature:

AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: msvcrt.dll ModVer: 7.0.2600.1106 Offset: 0003213b

Another thing is that i bought a HP computer and with
this computer i didn't get a windows XP disk with it so I
can't reinstall msvcrt.dll, so what do i do?

how do i get a new msvcrt.dll ver. 7.0.2600.1106?

Extract the msvcrt.dll File ,Version 7.0.2600.1106 from your XPSP1 CD.
It is located in CD:-X:\I386\MSVCRT.DL_ [Where X=your CD ROM]
And in your operating system it's located at:-
C:\WINDOWS\system32

It's a Microsoft C Runtime Library dll file.

Here are the download sites.

But they haven't mentioned the version.So I am not sure.
