MSVCR80.DLL ISSUE

I am getting the error msvcr80 , i read your response and tried to delete the
windows defender manifest file but I was told i needed permission to do so ,
how do i get permission

stop windows defender (also disable real time protection)
you can try some options to delete the file:
1-as administrator
2-in safe mode
3-or use UNLOCKER program

Please specify the full and exact error message you are getting.

Also, what Windows version and Defender version do you have?

I'm getting the same message repetitively but can not find the Windows
Defender file any where on my system. I'm using Office Enterprise 2007 -
would this make a difference?
