Can any one help ?
When I run Startup Inspector v2 it states that the file
C:\Windows\system32\mstask.exe does not exist. My computer takes ages to
start. So I thought I should run defrag, but Defrag will not run and chkdsk
just says it will carry out the options when next started up, but nothing
happen. Im running under Windows XP home SP2. Can anyone help me find this
last file.
Thanks Brian

I think you may have a severe malware/spyware problem that you need to deal
with.mstasks.dll is a legitimate program.mstasks.exe is not.Why 'startup
inspector' is advising you of this I dont know. Some research on the net might
help you out.

I can't help, but I have similar question.

I also can't find mstask.exe (I was looking for it in the context of
firewall enabling setups).

I had asked on the forum whether I should have it and what it does - I'm
still struggling... any ideas?
