Does anyone know why MSN Net passport will not remember username or password

even after you ask it to do so? Thus requiring a log in each time you go to

your MSN home page.

No, I'm not using any of that type of software. Just the firewall that comes with windows xp home edition sp2

I asked that because I have had the same problem a few times. To correct it
I have to change ZoneAlarm to the lowest level which then drops the passport
request. Then I put the ZoneAlarm level back up to the higher level and
everything is ok.

I think there is an occasional conflict which changes a flag which then
causes this problem. Resetting it fixes the flag and everything is ok (until
it happens again).

There may be a similar conflict with the MS firewall. Try lowering it or
stopping it temporarily.

Tried your suggestion and lo and behold it worked! Thanks for the info.

Thanks for what you did. Now that I know the MS program causes the same
thing I see it is not a ZoneAlarm problem. Only problem now is I don't know
what is the real problem.
