Hi
I have the same problem (so FAR UNRESOLVED NO MATTER WHAT
I HAVE DONE), I am using Windows XP Media center (which
is windows XP PROFESSIONAL with additional features to
watch TV and video on your computer) and MSN messenger 6
and my problem is that when I use voice conversation I
hear my friends but they cannot hear me. This problem is
exactly the same with:
Windows messenger (I have tested the latest version 4.7),
Net to phone ,
Iconnecthere and probably other software used to make PC
to phone calls.
ONLY YAHOO MESSENGER ALLOWS ME TO USE VOICE CONVERSATION
WITH NO PROBLEMS!
Now when I connect another computer ( HP LAPTOP) to the
same connection it works fine (NORMAL VOICE
CONVERSATION), so the problem is not related to my
Internet Server provider and/or Firewalls or NATs.
Now THIS Laptop COMPUTER USES WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION and
I have compared side by side the settings of it with my
computer and couldn't find anything different,
The card I use to connect to the internet is: Intel(R)
PRO/100VE Network
Another person who uses WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION has the
same problem and he also uses the same card "Intel(R)
PRO/100VE Network", and the same drivers I am using.
I installed the ADVANVED NETWORKING PACK 817778 but it
didn't solve anything.
Maybe I need to configure it in a special way differebt
from what I have tried, but HOW?
Any ideas????
Thanks
Luis
