msn vanished

I''m running xp w/service pk2. I cannot log on to MSN Premium by just
clicking the butterfly. I get a blank teal colored screen where you log in by
selecting your profile and entering password, but nothing happens. Tried
uninstalling MSN and I got no response. What's up?
