MSN DESKTOP TOOLBAR ERROR

I have an annoying message everytime I open my browser.
I installed MSN DESKTOP TOOLBAR a while ago. I also installed MSN CONTENT
PLUS .
This week I tried to uninstall MSN CONTENT PLUS and I thought I had done
until I got an annoying message popping up all the time. I probably have
screwed up something while trying to uninstall Content Plus because now I
keep getting this message everytime I open my browser:
It says: "A #msntb_toolbar_full_name# não pode carregar seu arquivo config."
Ok, part of the message is in portuguese(my language) but it translates as:
"cannot load config file".
I was able to uninstall MSN Content Plus after all and get rid of the
annoying message, but the MSN SEACH message still there.
Now, I still cannot figure it out how to fix my MSN DESKTOP TOOLBAR and I
keep geting this message over and over again. The search box also has
vanished, is not even where it used to be. I already tried to reinstall it
and did not fix anything. I could not even find a way to uninstall MSN
DESKTOP TOOLBAR from Control Panel.
Any help would appreciated.
Thanks.

press Ctrl+Atl+Del to invoke Task-Manager then kill the process named
"MSNAppM.exe". You can find and delete msnappm.exe in system
directroy(eg, C:\Windows\MSNAppM.exe )

Hi jack
Hi had the same problem here the easy way to do it?
1 close all the virus and antispyware and programs
2 install windows clean up and remove 1 program in the box at the time.
3 install betalive tolbar version
4 install again the msntolbar
5 go to control panel and go to add and remove programs
and last remove both tolbars.
this will fix the problem.

I tried this and didn't work. I also tried mic publication Regedit neither
that works.
Last chance will be to repair windows.
I don't like the idea of reformat 160 HD and reinstall everything back,
however I back up all my files, just in case.

I hope another solution will come out
