Msn Messenger

When i try to sign into msn messenger i get an error box saying 0x80004005 does anyone know what this could be, i also cannot use secure sites and my computer will not allow me to enable my firewall connection all of these must be linked
Does anyone have any ideas please
 
I have found out it is something to do with my cypher strength mine reads 0-bit believe it should 128 any ideas how to fix this ?
