msn messenger

I cannot start msn messenger. I receive "This operation cancelled due
to restrictions in effect on this computer.

Likely a group policy thing. I am an administrator on my notebook, is
there any way to circumnavigate this restriction?

You may get a quicker response in microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger.
