Which version of MSN version should work with Beta 1? Im getting an error
when I try and install the new Live Messenger.

hi paul,
i have messenger live and works perfect.
try downloading again from MS
 
Both the new and previous versions of Messenger work for me in the Beta 2
build.
The previous version works on Beta 1.
Or do you mean Beta 2?
 
I'm using Windows Live Messenger with Beta 2 and it works fine. I've
also got my much preferred Skype running and working though did have
some problems getting the microphone recognised.
