I get this Live messenger crash, faulting module msvcr80.dll. I tried to
remove all programs (adobee flash, MS V studio 2005 express)
I can log in and send messages but when I RIGHT CLICK on a contact in
contact list it always crashes with this error. I tried many verisons of MSN,
live messenger. I have several versions of MSVCR80.DLL installed

msnmsgr.exe, version 8.1.178.0, faulting module MSVCR80.dll, version
8.0.50727.762, time stamp 0x45712238, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset
0x000171cb

Please help.

All you had to do was open Windows Live Messenger> Tools> Options>General>
set it not to start at Startup, by unticking those options!

And if it WLM crashing at Startup, you have something else wrong with your
computer!

In case you're unfamiliar with Mick the Dick's posting style: when he
includes exclamation points, he's insinuating that's something you
should know and should not have to be told.

If you can't help the OP, don't post clown!
You are just another time waster, that lurks here.
WANKER!

You get capitals, as well as exclamation!
You go to the top of the class(wankers class, that is!).
Haha!
