Hi,

I have upgraded to msn messenger, how can i remove windows messenger from my
stsem now?

Go To C:\(Being Your Hard Drive)\WINDOWS\inf\sysoc.inf
Remove The Word Hide On Each Line Just The Word Hide No Commas Or Anything
Then Save It And Go To Add\Remove Programs "Windows Components" And Remove
Windows Messenger

Thank you for your replies,

I have changed the options on Windows Messenger: I have unchecked 'Run this
Program when windows starts' and 'allow ths program to run in the
background'

However, i have found out ( by running MSN mesenger ) that Windows messenger
still starts automatically when Windowss starts, any ideas?

You have to uninstall it, and then delete the Windows Messenger directory /
folder in the Windows / Program files folder.

But......

However, Instant Messenger is soon to become a pay service. I suggest going
to Yahoo! or some other Instant Message program.
