MSN Messenger does not work with my account anymore. Its worked fine for over
a year. Now when I try and log it I get message saying " Sigining in to MSN
Messenger failed because the service is temporarily unavailable please try
again later.

The odd thing is my friends can all log in here, and I can login my old
hotmail address. for some reason its just my login that will not connect to
msn messenger.

its been 24 hours now

Hi,
First try to log-in into your hotmail account using the web browser Internet
Explorer. See if you can log-in successfully. Please proceed in signing in
to your MSN Messenger.

Donna

Try removing the Passport account associated in Windows user account before
using MSN Messenger. See -

Try to use the MSN Messenger Connection Troubleshooter.
Open MSN Messenger>On the Tools menu, click Options.
In the left pane, click Connection.
Under Connection Settings, click Advanced Settings.
In the Advanced Connection Options dialog box, click Test HTTP Proxy
Connection.
The test results will appear in the Connection Tester dialogue box.

Click OK after the test finishes.
Optional: Let MSN Messenger log your sign-in process for better
troubleshooting You can use the connection log to troubleshoot your MSN
connection problem. (It is very helpful to have the connection log when you
contact Customer Support.)
Under Connection Logging, select the Save a log of my server connections to
help troubleshoot connection problems check box.
Click OK.
Try signing in to MSN Messenger again.

If the above will not help, try to clear the DNS cache.
On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type cmd, and then click OK.
At the command prompt, type ipconfig /flushdns, and then press ENTER.
