Windows XP MSN Messenger Emoticans disappearing

Can anybody help. My daughter uses MSN 7.5 and regularly saves emoticans from her friends, however tonight she discovered they have all disappeared. Nothing has chaned on the PC. These are ones she has saved from the conversation window rather than a 'save as' & create the emotican

If your using XP, doesn't it have a "rollback" feature, that would allow you to return to a previous state, where the icons are still there ? (make sure to backup any important data that was created recently before rolling back the clock on your pc ). That might be a last resort, but since I've never used MSN much, it's all I could think of.

Tried that and it didn't work. It seems to have happened since her friend used the MSN on our PC to login to her account

unisntall then reinstall it
