MSN Home Page Issues

I hope I can adequately describe this problem without the benefit of a
screenshot...

When I link to My MSN the page does not display the information
properly. I see everything loading and then the cursor blinks rapidly
and there is no functionality (ability to move modules and the like). I
have attempted everything Microsoft throws my way: deleting cookies,
clearing the cache, uninstalling anti-virus software, re-installing the
browser, resetting privacy settings to Default levels, etc. My
workstation has no malware or viruses. I do have a customized HOST file
but there are no references to MSN.

The only other page I've noticed is a problem is the Google Search page
which is completely blank. This one really has me snowed. Would
appreciate some assistance.

Sounds like a hijackware problem to me.

When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.net/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post
