msn help

[Phantom]

I like to use MSN Messenger, but the popup from it got so annoying I just
completely turned it all off. That's the only popup I have found that can't
be gotten rid of...............unless someone knows how.

i have a problem were my msn sign on screen keeps popping up ......how do i
get rid of this problem .....its so annoying..........i've tried every
possible way but i have't gotten any results.........anybody out there have
a clue to whats going on?..........Thanks i sure do appreciate all the help

If it is msn messenger, you can stop this by opening up the program,
click on 'tools' and then 'preferences'. Uncheck options for 'starting
when windows starts' and to 'allow process to run in background'. If
it's msn explorer. open up 'Internet Options', select connections
tab, selcet msn and then 'never dial connect button. Hope this

Thanks Geek for triggering my brain. I found the setting in Messenger.
Tools>Options>General. Now its working as I would like for it too. I have
the control over it, it doesn't control me.
