MSN 9 email problems

Hi,

I recently cleaned out all the temporary internet files, and Temp files from
my XP computer. I have & use MSN 9 dialup. Now when I connect to MSN 9, &
goto my email, all my old emails are missing, that were just in the inbox.
Emails were moved from stored emails, to my inbox, and there are a couple
hundred missing.

Why would this have happened?

Is this a temporary glitch MSN 9 is having?

The reason I ask, is that it appeared, that all email on MSN 9 stayed on the
server, until I removed it from the server. Now it is gone!

Are the messages still there if you access the account via www.hotmail.com?
