msn 6 problem

i am working on windows xp service pack and i am using
msn4 messenger.it works fine. but when i have downloaded
msn6 messenger and installed it, it dont work any
more.msn4 is still working but when i put my id in msn6
and try to connect it tells me that make sure u r
connected to internet though i do.what can i do to solve
this problem.

If you still cannot connect to MSN Messenger, the .NET
Messenger Service might be temporarily unavailable. You
can check its status on the .NET Service Status page.

I think my problem is like his.
If i use messenger 4.7 or below, it can work in lan.But
if i update my messeger(5.0,6.0), It cant work!!!

And i am in corp lan,use proxy. i dont know why ???

Hope somebody help me !!!
