Why does my XP firewall services have more then 15 msmsgs ports?
Is this normal?

thanks.

Greetings,

When you start Windows Messenger, it will automatically add two 'msmsgs' ports. However, if
you didn't properly close Windows Messenger, or shut down the computer in the normal way,
then these ports aren't removed and can "hang" around. In most cases, they're harmless, but
you can click the 'Delete' option to each one, then close down Messenger (right-click its
icon in the notification area/system tray) and restart it to reset them.

This will keep you from having video if you have too many of these open.
