msimn.exe application error

While running an online AV scan I got the following error
message
"The instruction at "0x7ff51d24" referenced memory
at "0x007f4748". The memory could not be "written".
Click on OK to terminate the program."
Any idea what caused this error?

No, but why not just download AVG Anti virus free edition. install it and it
will update virus defititions and do full system scan every 24hrs

I was running the online scan because I was concerned
that my system AV might have been corrupted.
This was just a safety precauction.
