I have the following faults in a 'Windows XP Pro' 'SP3' 'Dell Precision 690'
with 'Office Standard 2007'. With 'Kaspersky Internet Security 2009',
'CCleaner by Piriform' and 'MsiInstaller V 4.5.6001.22159'.
The 'Windows Update Patches' are recent.
When I try to re-install Office from CD or Open it in Add or Remove
Programs, to run the Repair option, the Events listed below happen.
Otherwise, no problems appear in the Event Viewer (Local) and in trying to
fix the difficulties, I unsuccessfully used <msiexec /unreg> and <msiexec
/regserver>, I then installed MsiInstaller V 4.5.6001.22159 to be found in
<Windows\System32>.
It may be coincident; I first noticed the problems after installing 'Google
Earth' now removed.
Can you please help me put right the problem, thank you David?
