msiexec error

J

Jeff

Hello all,
Well

I'm getting this error when I type in RUN> msiexec

The error is (msiexec is not a valid win32 application.)

If I type RUN> %systemroot%\system32
It opens C:\WINDOWS\system32 , and in the directory there
is the file msiexec.exe and if I double click on the icon
It will open. But when I type it in Start>RUN msiexe I
get this error.

Any info on haw to correct this error would be helpful.

Thanks

Same error, but (MSIEXEC.EXE is not a valid win32
application.)

Also when I go into the %systemroot%\system32 and copy
the msiexec.exe and past and rename the file and try to
run it, it will work.
