MSIE 'edit with' and 'view source' not working

I know this post probably belongs in an Internet Explorer group but I'm
not having any luck there. Recently the 'edit' button in the MSIE
toolbar won't work for any documentS except html pages that are saved on
my PC. View source has the same issue, That button only works with local
web pages. MSIE 6.0.2 on Win XP Pro SP1...THANKS!

Empty the Temporary Internet Files folder.
In IE, Tools-> Internet Options - General Tab and click Delete Files
