Hard OCP have reviewed the MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming LGA 1155 Motherboard:

"The MSI Z77A-GD65 Gaming is an ATX form factor board based on the Intel Z77 Express chipset. The Z77A-GD65 Gaming supports up to 32GB of ram, PCI-Express 3.0, native USB 3.0, LucidLogix Virtu MVP, Intel® Rapid Start Technology and Smart Connect Technology, SATA 6Gb/s support, USB 3.0, NVIDIA SLI / Quad-SLI support and 2 card CrossFire supporting up to four GPUs. The board also features and 8+4 phase power design. Since the board is targeted towards gamers and thus includes a feature set uncommon for most retail channel boards. These features include the OC Genie II, Killer NIC E2200, Sound Blaster Cinema, and a Gaming Device Port. Essentially that refers to the gold plated PS/2 keyboard / mouse port and USB ports which have polling rates of 1,000Hz. These are optimal for input devices.

Given the motherboard’s target market and what’s available from other vendors overclocking features are at the forefront of what the motherboard has to offer. Support for memory speeds up to DDR3 3000 (through overclocking), Full UEFI BIOS support, voltage check points, debug LED, and dual BIOS ROMs for redundancy or for running more than one BIOS version. The board is still naturally carries the MSI signature design elements such as Military Class III components, Hi-C Capacitors, super ferrite chokes, solid electrolytic capacitors, and finally the "DR. MOS" MOSFETs."
