is there a certified driver out there for this card?
i have the msi starforce fx 5600 td256
it runs fine for about 10-15 minutes in games
then after that the game pauses and gets a static look to the graphics
i can still do things within the game(s)
but i have to reboot to correct the problemi have all the updated
drivers even have all the old drivers for the vid card and have tried
each one of them DxDiag says there is nothing wrong with the graphics
(so far the games that are affected are C&c
Generals,Renegade,Halflife,Tribes2,and NeverWinter Nights.) i have been
having this problem for the last week and cant figure out if i just
have a bad card or what. any ideas?

I would suggest downloading the latest Nvidia driver from here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_53.03

Please keep me informed on whether this fixes your issue.

The other driver you can try updating that might cause this problem is your
agp filter driver.

I would lean towards your adapter overheating too. It could be you have a
card on the edge of failing where the small temperature increase from gaming
causes the errors you see, even though it doesn't feel warm/hot to the
touch. How long have you left your machine idle (not running anything)
after seeing the
static in a game before trying to run the game again. I suggest waiting
20mins to make sure it's the reboot and not the card cooling down that
refreshes your ability to play these games without corruption.
