msdtc.exe error code on start up

Just started getting an error on startup of Windows 2000
having to do with Microsoft Distributed Transaction
Console. The error code appears to be "8004EOFF". Don't
know what that means or how to correct it. It doesn't seem
to be affecting anything yet, but I haven't had time to go
through every program to see the impact. Any suggestions
on how to correct?

Check Event Viewer for details on the error.
